i am very sorry I have posted a similar thread but things have got worse and I need some advice.

Normal weight for 6 year olds = 46
My sisters weight = 57/58.

My mum is getting at her for it. She has already ruined my self esteem by calling my fat and I am 130lbs.

Now she has put my sister on a diet. This is very stupid I know. I have told mum this and she told me to get out of her business. I am very worried. I dont want my sister to get an eating disorder. Could this happen?
By the way the diet was not recommened by a doctor it was out of a book (not sure which one)

Thanks.

A diet probably isn't best for a 6 year old, considering they're still growing. It's best to make her eat healthy foods, cut down on sugary foods and do some exercise.

Diets don't work. Lifestyle changes do.

6 is very young and she's at a very impressionable age. If your whole family decides to change to a healthier lifestyle, then she'll grow up hardly remembering anything different.
