I went to the nearest high school by my new apartment. I picked up some registration papers and I need proof of residency on the lease.

My mother's name is not on the lease, neither is mine. I thought I would be able to get away with lying on the paperwork so I could go to school but nope they screwed me.

I want to finish High School, I honestly do, but I don't understand why they won't let you attend just because you don't live with your fucking parents.

Online school is just not working for me, and my last option is just to get my GED.

I need some advice from people, I am 16 on Sunday and my last option is to get my GED and take this year off saving up money until next fall, and get into the Community College. From there I could work my ass off and get into the state college but IDK... I need some advice. I hate my fucking life.

You can transfer to just about any university in your state or even abroad if you do well in your community college. Don't listen to the fearmongers who tell you otherwise, I actually know what I'm talking about, a friend of mine is doing it, and he didn't finish high school either.

One thing though, when you go to the jc, don't get overzealous and take like eight classes, take the minimal amount of credits to complete your AA in two years and take the easiest classes you can that first semester so you can get used to it and not set yourself up for failure, my friends mom (different friend) is the dean of a university and she says being overzealous is a common mistake that kills peoples gpa's
