No freaking religious intollerance or ignorance. If any mods read this, I'm asking that you delete their response, please and thank you! Ok...
How come people are afraid to accept the Bible as truth?
People accept text books as true; they accept internet as truth; they even accept music and their lyrics as truth, so why not the Bible?
If anyone every studied the Bible, you find many things out. For example:
-It was written by eyewitnesses. In a courtroom, it only takes two to put someone behind bars. The Bible has way more than 2!
-The Old Testament was written by over 40 kings, prophets, and other people. How did 40 people converge on 1 topic without even meeting each other?
-There has been no findings that have contradicted the Bible as being historically inaccurate.
-The chances of a prophecy coming true are the same as getting a blind man, filling Texas with five feet of sand dollars and then telling the blind man to find a marked one. Now multiply that times how many prophecies are made in the Bible, well over 100. So far, not a single prophecy has been wrong in it's fulfillment.
-As to it being passed on from generation to generation: that was left to the scribes.
LAWS OF THE SCRIBES:
*Had to work alone.
*Everytime they came across God's name, they had to wash their hands, get a special quill with special ink, and then continue on.
*Had to use a clean animal's skin.
*If they messed up more than 2 times, the document was thrown away.
*The spacing between every word had to be the same distance, less than the tip of a quill.
*They counted every word from the original and then the copy, and if any words were missing or added, they had to throw it away.
*The copy had to take up the same amount of scroll or page as the new one.
...I could keep on going... STILL THINK THE BIBLE's FALSE OR WRONG? GIVE ME PROOF.

Not at all, but just saying it's wrong is definately intollerance. Show me proof, and I'm fine.

because the bible is in no way true besides the word of a scribe that wrote it 150 years after all those events happened! and as an addition theres no proof of it being true text book at least have that!

I think it is but these are my personal beliefs just as yours are that the bible is true it honesly just comes down to the person and what they think.

because the bible is not true. It is people's observations and interpretation of events. Where textbooks can be checked the "facts" expressed in the bible are not open to being checked by an outside source in most cases.

its hard to believe things that was written thousands of years ago. there are the new testaments and the old testament. anyone could come along and change it. im not saying i dont believe in god and jesus but at the end of the day it could have been wrote by anyone, there is no proof x
