Minimum wage is a joke. I slave away all day for shit pay which doesn't even give me enough to do anything I need to do. Why do I work so hard! Why do I care! I'm going no where fast. I might as well not even be working because my rate of pay is not even worth my time. It feels just like I'm working for nothing. Stuck and having to listen to the idiots in control rant away about how I can do my job better. It just makes me wanna off myself. fuck.

Sometimes I wonder if finishing college will be worth it. With the pit of college debts I've dug for myself I don't see how I'm ever going to escape. I don't see myself getting a decent job. I don't feel like it's possible to escape minimum wage. Trying to get a job these days is like playing the lottery. Everyone needs a god damned job. There are so many of us, why do I even try. It all just feels so hopeless to me. I have no idea what keeps me going, or where I'm going to finally give up.

Minimum wage does suck, but it has been increased by a significant ammount in the last two years... not that it keeps up with inflation, but its a start.

there are jobs, maybe not great ones out there, but there are jobs for college graduates.  Once you have a degree there will be a moment in your life where you go from earning 7 bucks an hour to earning 30,000 a year or 40,000 depending on your field and job.  This is more than enough money for a single guy to live on, so just keep it up and don't worry to much about your debt, because your trading the money for the chance to have a career for the next 40 years.
