"Pop are we almost there?!" His grandchildren were full of enthusiasm to see an old cabinet house that their grandpa grew up back in the day. Grandpa had said that the cabinet was full of all cool stuff that he enjoyed as a kid and wanted to passed them on to this grandchildren who are both girl twins.

"Ahhh!" Grandpa said with a sight "Just a couple of more miles till we get there to see grandma and the old cabinet I've been meaning to show you two girls for so long. Both of you are going to be so thrilled" Grandpa chuckled.

"I'm so excited!" said Ashley uncontrollably who couldn't sit still.

"I miss grandma and her cookies, they are so delicious!" said Hilary cheerfully.

A few miles later, the sun was making its way to night. The air was warm and calm. Grandpa was listening to old country tunes on the radio with the volume set low. The twin girls, Ashley & Hilary were both asleep besides each other with their teddy bear warped around their arms. Hilary was still a tumbsucker. Grandpa just couldn't wait to take his two granddaughters to see the cabinet and Grandma. Grandpa has never expected this day to come, he had begged their parents to spend the weekend and finally show the girls the cabinet.

"I grabbed my old shotgun..." Grandpa was singing along to his old favorite country singer. "'Till...." Grandpa paused and looked out the window. He stopped the car and stood at the street. "What in heaven names is that?" Grandpa couldn't make out what it was. To him, it looked like a dead human. He turned off the radio, looked at the girls to see if they were awake. They were sleeping. He opened the car door slowly with his shotgun in his hand.

"Hello!" Grandpa said. He walked slowly to the body, his palms were sweating and his heart was racing. He aimed the gun at the body.

Are we aloud to do like fanfiction type stuff with characters from like shows and stuff in our story?

Sure, as long as it's original work.  

However, if you don't get permission to use the characters and settings from other works, I will not be able to do anything to protect you from lawsuits.  I just have to make that clear.

That's a good question.  I haven't decided yet, but I'll probably give a few points for the second-best story and maybe even third.
