is computers a good career to get into?  if so what should area should i go into  and does any one no  what some one could make a year  in computers thanks

Generally the average salary for a computer technician or network person isn't very high. If you're interested in it though, there's no reason not to get into it. It can be hard to find work though. Programmers make more money than just plain technicians, but it also requires a degree usually and is more complex.

The average salary for someone in the IT industry is actually very good.

I'm 18 straight out of school and was eligible to be working in IT Administration.

Starting pay was 50k  That's amazing for someone fresh out of school, and it's up from there..


Computers, or IT is a good industry to get into, it's always growing and people with knowledge in IT are in high demand.

Well that's definitely not the case here in the UK. Unless you're a programmer, there really isn't that much money in IT, at least over here.
