I am thinking about setting up a business as a sole trader and I was wondering whether its against the rules for me to exempt myself from liability through loss of service by clearly declaring that I would have limited liability for things out of my control and with the exception of negligence I would not be expected to cover damages or costs encored as a result of loss of service.

Any lawyers here know what im on about?

A sole trader cannot have limited liability, but if you go through the right routes and declare your self a company you can.
Or you could create a partnership and draw up an agreement that puts all the blame on the other person.
