Let it dry out and see if that helps. If the problem still occurs, you may have to take it apart to clean it, since coke syrup wreaks havoc on things like keyboards.

Have you tried letting it sit overnight? That's your best option since you don't want to buy a new one.

Since you spilled something sticky, try prying the small key caps off of the keyboard with a flathead screwdriver to get better access to the mess. Don't remove the spacebar, the Enter key or other large key caps. (Take a picture of the keyboard layout, or make a quick sketch of it, before you remove any keys so you can put them back where you found them.)

Then gently clean the keyboard with a wet cotton swab. Use either hot water or rubbing alcohol to get rid of the sticky residue.

Replace the key caps after rinsing them and letting them dry.

Let everything dry for at least 24 hours before plugging the keyboard back in.

Hope this helps.

You can pop the keys off, carefully, and clean the area with rubbing alcohol. Or buy a new keyboard.

This, and use some bottled air, and blow all the dirt away!

Put it in the dishwasher. Then put it in rice for a few hours to dry.
