The problem is, since my job doesn't take away taxes since I'm a 10-99 contractor for Comcast, I have to calculate and figure out how much I owe at the end of the year.

My boyfriend worked for a painter for a while, and had to do that. It sucks major balls. You have to keep track of fucking everything, even the miles you put on your car for work.

My brother was getting like 17.50/hr plus benefits working in a glass shop.

They started slowing down so much though, and he wasnt going to be able to pull of paying for college, so he dropped that for Air Force.

My base pay is at $8.07 an hour (minimum in Washington state - will rise to $8.55 an hour in 2009), but in tips, I make anywhere from $4 - $10 an hour more, usually around $7 an hour more.

So altogether, I make about $15 an hour on average, though perhaps more or less depending on whether it's a good day or not.

i am younger then you asked, so i am 15. when i work i make $11 an hour plus tips which is about $5 to $12 an hour during the summer. so $16 to $23 an hour depending.
