I am a 19 year old freshmen in college.  I am currently taking 14 credit hours and I have been doing some thinking.  My parents have an accountant that does their taxes and offered my parents to talk to me about coming in soon and he would "work" with me because that's what I planned to do in high school. I was talking to a past student here at my college about internships and he was saying that you have to find a way to get experience and I think this would be a good opportunity, the problem is I am swamped with stuff at the moment. I would probably just go in about 8-10 hours a week I'm guessing but eventually maybe he would start paying me if I did well with it. The problem is I should probably get an actual job to earn some money...I'm in a bit of confusion.. any advice on what i should do would be great.

money sounds appealing, but you have to get relevant professional experience in order for it to work out in the long run.  If your not sure what you want to do, you might consider earning money, but if this is your path, there is no better way to get your foot in the door.

Consider waiting until christmas break and summer vacation if you feel your studies would suffer.
