It has to be said, I am really really tempted by the new Macbook Pro. It is a really nice bit of kit, it looks very very well engineered and compact.

The price isn't that bad, the tech looks pretty good. All the bits i would expect to be able to change are easy to change. It is a bit of a shame you still can't swap the disk drive for an extra battery, but it's OK.

My only real issue with it is I would almost certainly use it for running Windows Vista and I'm not sure how well that will work with the toutchpad. Then again, I'm sure someone will bring out some drivers for it.

Apple are finally closing down on my idea of dream kit, that said, still not quite a thinkpad...

See for thinkpad

Don't see much of an issue with it.

I would prefer the MBP over that thinkpad, even without OSX. Put two fingers on the touchpad, and click = right click. It's fun.
