...is a lot of money.

idk but I just graduated from high school in June '08 and I just quit my first job that didn't last a whole month. I'm waiting for a call from the next place where I had a job interview and well, if I had $500 that would be a lot for me.. not really a fortune but it would be pretty nice..

My question is, how much money do you have to spend on things you WANT to buy? I forgot the word for things that you want but you won't necessarily die without them.

oh yeah i forgot to say that i have over $200 dollars.. but yeah I only spend it on CDs, going out to eat.. nothing too big

Right now?

I have $20 to spend, and that has to cover gas for the week. So its more like $5 to spend.

$500 would be a hell of alot of money for me. Shit, I havent had that kind of money since I bought my car.

I mean, I COULD spend around $2000 and still get by, but I like having the backup money and try not to buy a lot of luxuries.

i have been saving my money and i have about $600. i had alot more but i bought new headlights for my car. my money goes to gas, parts for my car and my crafts.

It depends what you're spending it on.  If you're spending it on the cost of living, it can go really fast.  

But if you're just spending it on random cool things, then yeah, it's a lot.

I work so I'm earning but I have responsibilities now I'm 18. Right now I have about £100 that I could just go spend on something for myself but I'm a saver. I probably spend about £30 a month on myself.
