Ok Im talking my mom into getting me a comp, I found this: # Dual Intel Pentium 4 2.60 GHz processor Hyper-threading technology ( Maximum for upgrade is Pentium 4 - 3.4GHz Prescott) # No Memory # No hard drive (Maximum for upgrade is 1TB with 2 SATA Ports) # CD rom # 1.44 MB Floppy drive # Integrated video # Integrated audio # Integrated Ethernet # Tower # I/O Ports: # Two (2) PS/2 ports # One (1) 9-pin Serial ports # One (1) Parallel port # Two (2) PS/2 ports # Eight (8) USB ports (2 front, 6 rear) # One (1) RJ-45 Ethernet jack # One (1) 15-pin VGA port # Mic, Line in, Headphone jacks and it has a 14-day warranty, I need to know if its good, cause she might get it for me!
What are you planning on using this for and what is the cost of this crap-tastic barebones kit? There isn't actually a limit to hard-drives, they make 1.5TB drives now, which is showing how dated already this barebones system you posted up is... but thats the least of your problems, you need to buy memory, that should be $50-$100, a hard-drive, $50-$200 depending how big you want to go, and Operating system, $90+ depending on what you get... Then we get into all the integrated stuff, if you want to play any modern games, all that integrated stuff is absoultly worthless to you and you should not even go for that combo, as a good system for games WILL require a decent graphics card ($200+).
