Religion pisses me off

So there are so many holes and contradictions in every religion. I don't see how people can seriously pick one and say theirs is the correct religion. One thing most of them have in common is that they believe they where created by something. So that could be a very good possibility. we could be created by like some sort of entity or something.
People believe something that says you should be stoned if you plant two different crops next to each other, or if you miss the Sabbath you should be stoned. I see how people could believe that in the Middle ages but now it's just unreasonable.

I hope it made some sort of sense

Gnosticism isn't A religion its a type of religion, theres Gnostic Christianity, Gnostic Judaism ect.

The only point for religion is to give meaning to one's own life. Atheism is living for yourself but not everyone think that's a valid reason for living. So people created religion.

but Atheism also makes no sense at all because we couldn't come from something that was never created. So it has to be somewhere in the middle.
