try doing things differently, change your routine of activites and focus on you then.
spend some quality me time, take a bubble bath&talk to someone about it.maybe you should take less credit hours & if you're working quit it.

I'm guessing you have been in college for about 2 months? And that you expected things to just change because it was a new place, new start. I work at a University and I can promise you there are others who are having the same feelings as you are but it's not good for you (and that's what you need right?) to keep it bottled up and have unrealistic expectations. THere are surely counselors where you go to college and they HAVE dealt with these feelings from other students. ANything you say is confidential with the exception that if you make any threats to other people or yourself that could make a counsellor reasonably think you were going to carry it out, they may be required to call the police. For example: "Sometimes I feel like killing myself and I get so angry I could kill someone", would be confidential (and probably common, at that). But :"I'm so depressed I've decided I'll kill myself if I don't get a date by Saturday", or you make an immediate and "creditible" threat to harm yourself or someone else, police or mental health officials may be called in. So please go talk to a counsellor. I gave you the exceptions because you need to know that outside a real threat, your confidence will be respected.
