White people food. Home cooked meals, various sorts. We get the food from the local suburban grocery store that I worked at through highschool. (It prides itself in community involvement and guest service) Usually uncultured simplified run of the mill versions of different countries stereotypical entrees to make ourselves feel cutured. We like spaghetti, tacos, hamburgers, hotdogs, and the occasional beef stroganoff. We usually eat when dad gets home from work. We greet him with "HEY PA!" and I'll throw in a "Gee Whiz! I surrrrrrre am glad you're home, Sir!" He might follow with "Gollllllly Jr. lets go out and toss the baseball around before we eat!"
------- I don't know, I think I am 70/40 on this issue. I always give it my 110%.

If you want to know the kinds of food associated with whites, your best bet is to look at the traditional foods of European cultures. Fish and chips is a stereotypical one for the Brits. Pizza and pastas is an obvious one for the Italians. Mashed potatoes have been wildly popular in Europe since its introduction 500 years ago. Sausage is one for the Germans. There are some odd French dishes out there. Muffins, pancakes, cookies, ice cream, etc. have all been popular to Europeans. Milk, too, as Europeans more than any other race has a mutation which allows them to digest lactose (and hence milk - the inability to digest lactose is lactose intolerance, which is an abnormality in European countries but the norm everywhere else in the world). If anything, the single most important food for whites, or those of European descent, has been bread. Beef, mutton, pork, and poultry has also been another big one as Europeans kept more cattle and chickens per person than places like India and China ever did until more recently. Grape wine's also been another European drink, which goes far back to the Classical Era. Really, combine all that and you get the most common and generally favored food of the United States. And favored by more than just whites, too, but anyone who's really grown up here. Post edited at 9:57 pm on Oct. 17, 2008 by Bud2400

Bread. Yeah that one is true actually, Thats the big difference, Most nonwhites are more into rice or flatbread.
Wheat cultivation is perhaps the single most defining thing of European agriculture.
Potato came from south america.
Indeed, which I mentioned. It was exported all over the world and allowed population booms everywhere, from Europe to India to China as potatoes were among the most hardy crops which could grow darn near anywhere. Still, despite its origins in the New World, that doesn't mean that mashed potatoes hasn't been made into a staple food of Europeans, or more broadly, whites.
Beef is common in asia and africa. Its not there as much because it is costly in terms of how much output you get for the input. But it used to be not as common in europe either. The biggest consumers of beef are in the US, Brazil Japan and China.
I'm talking about throughout history, which has certainly left an indent on it today. If you look at the agriculture in the Classical Era, you'll notice that Greek and Roman civilization was based far more on urban centers and cattle farming than China and India, which were based primarily on crop farming. Of course, Greece and Rome still primarily farmed crops, but they had a lot more cattle than anywhere else. In the Middle Ages, this remained. It was passed onto the Europeans, Byzantines, and Muslims to a good extent as well. So cattle farming, and thus beef, pork, and the like aren't exclusively European, but they're still staple products for Europeans. Only more recently has places like China began to "farm" cattle and chickens.
Lamb has always been a big thing in the Middle East.
Yeah, I'd say it's bigger over there than it is here, but in the past, it was still an important European food. Not so much today, though, I suppose.
Wine from grapes used to be common in the Middle east before Islam. It comes from the Middle East in fact.
Of course. I believe it was first cultivated and fermented in modern Lebanon, Georgia, and around that area (the western part of the Middle East). From there, Greece picked up on it. Since grapes could grow all over southern Europe, it became wildly popular - more so than in the Middle East. It would probably be more popular in the Middle East today, too, if Islam didn't prohibit the consumption of alcohol. Still, though, if you think of where all the good wine comes from, it's always in Europe, and perhaps California, although most modern Europeans would talk smack about Californian wine.
But bread in loaves (NOT flatbread) that's really much more European and white I agree.
I've read studies that cultivating wheat instead of rice has been a major factor in Europe's development with land and machines, and for Asia, its emphasis on hard work for cultivating rice. After all, the amount you get from rice really depends on how much work you put into it. The harder you work on the rice, the more you'll get out of it. So only a small amount of land was needed with lots of labor to work on it. Many speculate that this is why places like China and India haven't been historically as expansionist as Europe and the Middle East which cultivated primarily wheat, and why rural populations tend to be more densely populated. Wheat, on the other hand, doesn't matter how much work you put into it. You have to put in some work of course, but there's a limit. In order to get more wheat, you'd have to expand. Also, with things like the windmill to make bread, it really saves labor. Supposedly without having to do all the extra work that you would have to do with rice, Europeans had leisure time to think about how to produce wheat and other things more efficiently, and hence make more machines. I'm pretty skeptical on that point, though, because in China they made pretty impressive machines that would control the water level and everything for wet rice farming (in mainly southern China), which produced far greater yields than dry rice farming (in mainly northern China) during the Middle Ages.
