Fact.

I did that on accident once. I had friends in the room next to us, and I promptly moved the bed so they didn't have to hear it. I didn't realize the bed was hitting the wall until they said something, but after we moved it it was fine. I still felt bad lol I try to be really quiet when I'm up here at school because I know how thin the walls are.

As long as they aren't in the same room as me, then it wouldn't be so bad.

In a sense, it may be a nice thing that I'll never have to experience dorm life.  Pros and cons to both sides though.
