So I've been trying to figure out what I want to major in. Either Microbiology/Virology or Aerospace Engineering.
Richard Prestons "The Hot Zone" and numerous other books by him made me fall in love with Virology but I don't know where a career would lie being a microbiology major. I plan on attending UT@Austin and one of my friends said I could work there in their labs or something. But what if I don't want to work there. Where would I go?
My second choice is Aerospace Engineering. My uncle is very successful in his job doing that. And he didn't even get an engineering degree but one below it. Not saying that the money is everything but I think it is something I think I'd like to do as a living. If I could survive the courses lol.
And my minor as random as my two Majors is, is web-design. They all kind of clash with each other but I've been doing web-design since Junior High and not to be conceited but I think I'm really good at it.
I'd like to talk to a career counselor or something but I live in a small town where I doubt anything and everything I learn and hear.

Yeah, I guess. But I'd hate moving like 4... 5 hours away not knowing anyone and not even knowing my major... I guess I could visit first huh? Lol. Yeah I might try this. Thanks

If you are really good at web design and you wouldn't mind doing it for a career then major in it. Otherwise then I would major in aerospace engineering.
