It is her one flaw and she really is a great person. But the fact that she feels the need to broadcast to me the status of her orgasms really ticks me off.

What she does in the bedroom should be her own business. Some people feel comfortable being open about those things (and I have plenty of friends that would probably love to hear about my sex life) but many are not.

But the real question is: Do you think she's doing it to purposefully make you feel out-of-the-loop? Perhaps she's insecure about her choices, and wants to reconfirm to herself (by talking about them and throwing them out to anyone who will listen) that it is normal and perhaps isn't wrong? There are many reasons why she may be talking the way she does, and not every reason is to make you feel bad or prude.

Just because you choose to not have sex doesn't mean that everyone looks down on you, even your roommate might not look down on you.

You shouldn't have to come home and feel uncomfortable, that is completely unfair, and if you are feeling that way because of something your roomate is doing then she should stop. That's really the only answer. Sitting down and talking to her about how you really don't care and wish to not openly hear her sexual plans might be a good choice. If you do not feel comfortable speaking to her in such open terms then a note might work out well, or is there another roommate or friend who can help you with this discussion?
