Last year was my first year living on campus, the previous year I was a commuter student. Well I've been back at school for a week now and I've been having bad anxiety attacks. I have an overwhelming desire to return home and be a commuter again. My parents don't want me to do that because they think, and they may be right, that if I don't live at school, I'll never move out of their house. The funny thing is that I lived at school all last year and was for the most part fine with it. No anxiety attacks, a little depression and some homesickness, but nothing like what is happening now. I've been seeing the conseulor at school, but there's only so much he can do. He tells me I have to confront the feelings that are causing the anxiety. Well I have and all that makes me want to do is move home again. It would be very hard with my schedule this semester to commute, but it would at least allow me to drop much of the stress I'm feeling everyday right now. So I am not so much asking a question here, more I'm asking if anyone else has these feelings and what they do about it? You should know that I am a junior and I'm 21 years old. So I'm an adult with these overwhelming feelings to live with my parents.

well obviously there is something 'wrong' with me, the issue is whether I take a certain action because of it, or not.
