It's so funny how people are assholes about immigrants entering the US. I understand that certain things suck, like them being illegal and not paying taxes, shit like that, but helllooo? Many of them AREN'T illegal and actually try to get their citizenship here.
Find me one person who's complaining about legal immigration. You totally miss the point. Nobody is complaining about immigration in general. Anyone complaining is complaining about illegals.
It's more of 3rd world immigration, not just illegal in particular.

Most non-white individuals at my school are 2nd or first generation immigrants from Asia or Africa. They are not part of the problem.
African immigrants, seriously? What country? And which Asian country too, I only know Filipinos which fit in quiet nicely with the Hispanics.

Various African countries. Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Rwanda (via Cameroon), Ethiopia/Eritrea/Somalia. I haven't lived anywhere else in the US, so I don't really know how our numbers compare. As it stands, there are (or seem to be) more fresh-off-the-boat Africans in my city than "African-Americans." (I live in a small, mostly middle-class city) Asians from everywhere. Lot's of Indochinese (Thai, Cambodian, Laotian/Vietnamese), lot's of Koreans (there are signs on a chunk of Highway 99 exclusively in Korean in my city), fair number of Chinese, some Japanese, some Desis (Indians/Pakistanis/Bangladeshis). There are also Filipinos, [some] of whom do absorb more into the dirty-Mexican subculture than the standard American culture. I'm not in Cali, if you need to know. Think a bit further north.

3rd world immigrants AS A WHOLE are, mostly, not contributing or improving anything.
I'm sure a few are, maybe even a lot. But NOT the majority.

I want them to live and to have their own country. But, they left it. They took the easy way out. Instead of helping their people, their country, and their identity, they migrate here and LEECH off of our government. Now, I'm not talking about all of them, but a LARGE portion.
