I've never tried, but my sister did and for her first baby it took them like a year.  That also though was because she had polysistic ovaries which made it difficult for her to get pregnant.  Her second baby though, I think like a 4-6 months.
For my other sister, it just happened.

I've never tried.  My oldest sister is not pregnant, and according to her they didn't have any trouble when they started trying.  Some of her friends however aren't exactly the same, and they've had to try things like in vitro.

Of course, my sister is almost 30 now, and her friends are similar ages, so that would play a role in you ability to get pregnant.
