Replies BananaPancake Posted at 8:34 am on July 4, 2008 You definitely can call Child Protective Services (assuming you're under 18) in your area, and they will come out and do an investigation, and then most likely remove you and you'll be placed in a foster home, pending adoption. Then, you can be adopted from there. The first step though is to make the call to social services/child protective services and begin the process. Disposition Posted at 8:18 am on July 4, 2008 Yes! If you contact social services in your area and tell them that you're being abused, then you can be taken somewhere else away from your family. Although it's likely that you'll have to stay in some sort of an orphanage before you get taken in.
