is it possible to have a seizure from stress?

Absolutely. Seizures are usually a way of releasing pain, or some sort of trauma in most cases, unless you have epilepsy of course.
Stress usually causes panic attacks or breakdowns, but as a result of those breakdowns a seizure can occur.

yeah, my cousin kept having fits, but she was still conscious, so they knew it wasn't epilepsy. In the end they put it down to stress.

If you're prone to seizures I guess it's possible.

I wouldn't rule out any possibility, but there would seem to be a better link for the culprit.
