Ive beeen super depressed and wanting to die for 3 years pretty much and am to scared to do it. I know their is something wrong with me but i cant help it. =(

Replies Miss Prophetess Posted at 1:06 pm on Aug. 8, 2008 It sounds like deep down, a part of you WANTS to live, because you haven't attempted suicide yet.  So that's a positive thing.  It means you still have hope that things will get better; whether you realize you have that hope or not, it's there. Solitude Posted at 11:37 am on Aug. 8, 2008 I wish you would have explained why you're sad, at least give us a clue, we can help much better if you give us details rather than just tell us you're depressed. But anyway I think it has lasted too long already don't you? Three years seems like a long time to me. It must be terrible to be depressed and thinking about suicide for such a long time, mustn't it? There are a lot of things you can do to help you be happy again, of course the best one would be to solve your problems, but I'm not sure if you can do that. Try and find a way to solve whatever problems you have because we're usually depressed when we have problems that we cannot solve, but sometimes the solution is right under our nose. Do you think there's a way you could solve your problems? IS there something you could do about it? Maybe there is and you're just not seeing the things that you can do to solve your problems. When it involves another person is the time when the problems is either very complicated or you can't solve it. There are other things you can do to stop feeling all sad and lonely. Do the things that make you happy that's all. What do you like to do? Maybe you like to ride your bike, do that. Maybe you like to read, do that. Maybe you like to play sports do that. Sports are a great way to stop feeling depressed. Specially if you enjoy them, so try and do that instead of being sad. If you need anyone to talk to, I'm always here.
