Is there really a point in saying that?

I have one friend who constantly tells me to stop cutting myself, to think of other things, to do other things... That's really not enough. And it tears me up to tell him that.

It tears me up to tell anyone that. I can't help but feel like people caring for me is encouraging a cycle of self-hate, resulting in suicidal thoughts/plans.

Ugh... it just seems that my brain is congested.

Your kind disgusts me and should cease to be.

isnt there supposed to be anti-suicide messages on here? youre almost telling people that if they do it they should just kill themselves...

cutting isn't easy to stop thats like telling an 8 year alcoholic just stop drinking if that was the case and everyone could just stop doing those kinds of things whenever they wanted to then their wouldn't be rehab centerts and their would'nt be proffessional people that are trained to deal with that kind of thing and help it. I think u need to talk 2 someone who has been through it be4,gotten help and was able to stop then u can see that their is light at the end of  the tunnel ya know?Or like talk to ool counselor or a friends u trust not 2 judge u

They don't understand how hard it is, so of course they're going to say that.

Ah, I know what you mean.  Perhaps you should seek help from a professional?
