we're starting to find reasons why i've always felt so different, reasons that ARENT due to mental illness.

for example i went to my ear doctor and i guess i suffer from extreme vertigo and lack of cooridantion. and i can't tell one voice apart from the next if im talking with 2 people, which is why i don't like hanging with more than one talkative friend.

i have extreme light sensitive eyes which is why i've always prefered night time.

and the weirdest is i have a form of sensory integration dysfunciton, which means i can't stand to be touched lightly, but i DO want to be touched...like something to weight my skin down. i always wear tight shirts then sweatshirts and hats and watches and heavy shoes. probably why my shrink thought i was self injuring when i'd punch my skin or squeeze it or always wear rubber bands.

From one guy to another: if your depressed DONT get meds first! you can't have someone who concentrates on just one area of your body, to magically make you feel better. in fact he may give you pills that will make you a thousand times worse. Your "depression symptoms" might really be physical problems!

so. see a real doc first.

This is a really good point and I dont think a lot of people really realize it anymore...They just think a random prescription will make thins go away but that's not always the case.

thanks!
