"Freedom in art, freedom in society. This is the goal toward which all logical minds must strive."

It is impossible for me to notice,
that the more we sit here
and judge one another.
The more we think instead of write,
the more we watch instead of acting on an impulse,
the more we tie ourselves to a false truth.

Maybe I'm just going crazy.

If we are striving for freedom,
why do we follow the already walked paths?

For one simple reason.
Fear.

Well, I guess that reason is not simple at all.

Do strive for an image
or for freedom?

Leeland died yesterday.
None of you knew him.
He was my friend.
He was very sick.

What Leeland stood for
was what he was.

Being far from the norm.
Being observant.
And having fun.

Now that he is gone,
he will be missed,
but all I can say to ease my pain

is to make a promise to always
be what I am.
To be aware
To be logical.
To be free.

And to have the best time of my life.

Isn't that all that matters anyway?
