I seem to remember in about 5th or 6th grade I would do things for attention, and just to see how far I could push people.  I noticed d that thing sjust got worse over time and it became something that was out of my control
Now for like the past 3 years I've been in a really deep depression I xant seem to come out ofn did I cause this? Or do you think I just never realized the signs at first?

Don't feel guilty about all the things that you have done in the past. You cant change them now, and nothing bad has really come from them. No what if you played up a bit when you were younger? The thing you have to focus on is staying positive as much as you can, and not letting yourself sink further into the depression.

That you can actually recognise the possible signs of early depression is good: first steps on the road to recovery.
Depression can be caused by a variety of factors, such as a family bereavement or a genetic reason. Assigning blame wont do much to help the recovery unless there is something you can do about it: dont beat yourself up about the past.

The best move for you to make next is to see a counsellor and get their advice and support to get you through the depression. It can be hard at first, but it gets easier, and it will help you.

No. Seeking attention or causing trouble can be signs of early depression.

But more likely your depression is causing you to feel guilty about the things that happened in your past. I know when I was severely depressed I felt like I was a horrible person for accidently calling my uncle Rob instead of Redge. It's a part of depression, it is possible you are experiencing anxiety problems though. You should talk to your Psychiatrist or councelor.

your just realizing all the horrible things you did in the past and your feeling guilt if you can get over it and learn from it its pretty normal if you live it over and over again then its a problem.
