walmart  is being sued because they broke labor laws 2 million times here. They had forced several workers to work overtime without extra pay and several times they were cutting  break times or not giving breaks  , as well as decreasing wages.

I mean Ive hated the store for a while but they are just dispicable

WAL MART> ALWAYS LOW WAGES, ALWAYS! I have always followed Wal Mart and their corruption of labor laws...a couple of years ago, in Canada, there was a bomb scare and the management decided that the employees must go in and search for any bomb. This is despicable...but what is more despicable are the employees who allow it....ORGANIZE! ORGANIZE! ORGANIZE! Poeple ought to understand Frances Perkins and her journey...

If that's the case, than I should so sue McDonalds for doing that to me.
And Food Depot for doing that to me.

You can't say that every single person aside from those three hated it. I'm just saying that it's not THAT bad. I'm sure there are worse places to work. Send these people to a sweat shop and see how much they whine about WalMart then.

Of course there are always worse places, but that doesn't mean Wal-Mart isn't a evil corporate giant with nothing but dollar signs in its eyes.

So people want to make money. That's how things are in the real world. Everything is not sugar coated and people don't just do things out of the goodness of their hearts.

Target, Costco, Fresh and Easy, etc. make loads of cash without being evil jackasses.

As much as WalMart? Target sucks and I never even heard of the other ones.

Never heard of Costco or Fresh and Easy. Hmmm...

The amount of money can't be considered since Wal Mart is currently larger than the afformentioned companies, but I do recall that their profit margins are substantially larger than Wal Mart's.

WalMart is huge. They have better things to worry about than making everyone happy.

I can name three people off the top of my head who loved working at WalMart.

Three happy people out of a few hundred thousand isn't exactly a majority.

That's a surprise.

Wal-Mart has always been dispicable. This isn't the only time it's done this type of stuff. Once they tried to build a store over an ancienct sacred burial ground in Mexico. They ignored the people and the local government's protests and did it anyways.

I prefer Target or Costco. The makers of the items may be treated just as bad, but at least the middleman's emplyees aren't.

Walmart is a pretty great place.
For the customers maybe, but not the workers

Workers are exploited all over the place.

My entire wardrobe is made from the hands of exploited workers. Hasn't stopped me in the past from enjoying cheap products, it won't now.

that sucks.

but on the flip side, if they didn't want to work it, they could have just left and found another job.

It's not easy to find a job these days...

I agree that it's good for customers but not for the workers.
