This is a map...for those who don't know that South Ossetia is an actual country and its own republic not a property of Georgia...

1. Russian peacekeepers were at the border of south ossetia and Georgia to stop the war (they got killed by Georgia)

2. Russian forces came in, pushed Georgia out of south ossetia and at the moment are at the border of south ossetia and Georgia....why? cos they wont go any further, they are there to help south ossetia not to have a war with Georgia

3. why does everyone say that its a war with Georgia and Russia? well people think that south ossetia is Georgia...for those people i provided a map!!!

4. Russia speaks out to the leaders to say of what they think of situation...other manipulate their words and in news and radio things such as "president of Russia wants to let go of power".

OMG!! you are such a typical russian..you always think you're right....and try to prove it even if you are totally wrong!! south ossetia si not a country, just a region that belongs to Georgia...even if you like it or not...

If USA can do what they want in Kosovo, which is officialy part of Serbia, then I don't see why Russia couldn't do what they want in South Ossetia. And anyway Georgians attacked first, so they got what they asked for.

So South Ossetia thought that Georgia wanted to invade, so asked Russia to help.. knowing that Georgia is about to enter NATO.

None of it is smart; It increases tensions all around.

ur opinion is very biased, and wrong. south ossetia broke away from georgia and does not belong to russia either. gerogia launched an offensive to regain their state and russia counter attacked.

Are you aware of the arm forces that South Ossetia have...10 tanks is nothing they asked for russian help to keep the georgians at bay and thats what russia is doing...South Ossetia isent a part of Russia or georgia but it has many russian citizens and North Ossetia is a part of russia!!!
