Yes Al Queda is overly shown but what about the Hamas? Al Queda arent alone are they?
No. There are many extremist terrorist groups in the world. There's no reason to give them free publicity, especially if we are fighting them, and doubly especially if they are killing civilians and American soldiers overseas. |

Does America have a free press when they refuse to show uncensored terrorist material on both the internet and TV? I want to see both sides to the story dont you?
Yes. Why should we let our enemies use our media as free advertising and distribution for their communications and public relations purposes? Both sides are available. If you want to read about the enemies' point of view, that information is freely available on the Internet. Al-Jazeera very willingly runs PR pieces made by al-Qaeda. This proposition is analogous to saying that we should have ran German-produced agitprop pieces such as "The Triumph of the Will" on American media during World War II. Most usually in life, one side of the story is the most truthful side. |

Oh, is that what you call it? When your leader fucks up, you don't want to know about it? If something is true, there's no good reason for the press to not report it if it's important information.
How is this any diffrent than america censoring Taliban/Al Queda website? Americans shouldnt see both sides of the story?
If terrorist material weren't censored, it could be argued both that it would be easier for the terrorists to get information safely and to find recruits in the gullible, malleable public. Besides, censorship in North Korea of news bashing its leader really can't be held equal to censoring the words of terrorists. |

Hell to the m/f no! And don't you forget the FCC censors domestic entertainment (i.e. film & music) too
And yet America complains to China and North Korea even Cuba regarding there policies on Censorship?
thats because they censor anything degrading to there leader.
So its bad for them to keep a patriotic country?
