Are you for it, or against it?

Personally I think that even though there is enough food for everyone, it just depends on how the food is rationalized, I would be for GM food. GM food can prevent hunger more easily than trying to make sure food is rationalized equally.

Unless the errors make it taste wicked. Then HELL YEAH!

So you don't care that it's full of fake crap that could lead to unknown illness in ten years so long as it tastes good?

That's living in the moment, yeah. If all the conspiracies are true we won't be alive in ten years. if they are false then I don't give a crap. i'm surprised I've been alive for this long anyhow.

GM foods aren't the solution to world hunger.

The thing is, science is forever changing. The things you see now and believe in may change too in the future. You don't know what will happen. But for now, we can't just keep people dying while we take years to research for the right kind of food. Apparently 1 person dies of hunger every 3.6 seconds.

Just as long as no errors happen in the sequencing, I'm okay with it.

GM-crops can't go on forever. We cannot keep mutilating our food - one day it won't even be recognisable for what it is. Not only does GM food contain a bunch of chemicals that it doesn't need to contain - we don't KNOW what effects these chemicals will have on us in 10 or 20 years time. Look at China and the whole issue with the milk as a prime example.

It can't support us forever. We need a far better solution to famine and hunger than genetically modified foods.

I'm against it because we would probably end up with more situations like whats happening in China with their milk.

What's happening in China with their milk?

Something found in it that contains some sort of chemical that is toxic.

For my English GCSE I wrote about GM Foods and Nano machines.
I found both quite interesting.

I'm for GM foods.
