Well it was a terror attack organised by insane people who think they are doing it for religion, but actually they're just a bunch of idiotic assholes..

they are all funded by the Pakistani government.. I can give you proof if u want...

It's crazy. I've been reading about it in the papers etc. About 195 dead so far, I don't understand it.

everything is quite peaceful now..
aniruddhc Posted at 8:00 pm on Nov. 26, 2008
yeah.. but the events thankfully only confined to the fag end of Mumbai, in the mainland... Where I live there's no activity.. So thats good

It's not THAT diverse.

It must be crazy over there, wow.

aniruddhc Posted at 7:49 pm on Nov. 26, 2008
Lolz.. thats funny.. But I was still wondering as to why no one is talking about it here on LW... I thought it was a very diverse cross-section of society...
Anyway, top cops have been killed, the NSG are in Mumbai, curfew in Colaba.. Commandos are in the hotel... Lotta shit going on..

This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. I am so angry right now. By attacking hotels like the Taj & the Oberoi they're essentially just making a statement against India's economic growth, which just seems so wrong to me. We've come so far and then there's idiots like these people out to destroy everything.

Not to mention, I have family in Mumbai...
This is awful. I'm praying the situation will be contained soon.

I hope so too... I had my preliminary exams and they had to be cancelled.. Anyway Mumbai has changed overnight.. On the news, they showed some of the firings live..

If any of you'll are interested in watching it live, or reading the stories live, then check out this website--

They've been covering it on the news here ALL day. My family and I knew about it before my grandparents in Delhi did, we just called them and they said they had no idea, because they hadn't read the newspaper yet.

Terrorist groups from all over want to instill fear in Americans but fail to realize that they will not be in fear but angered. That was Al Queda's main purpose. I think it's new that Britons are now being targeted.

Team America: Would Police to the rescue!!!!

Crikey.
I wish there was a way they could hunt down all the guns, bombs and other weapons, destroy them and prevent any more being made.

then we could stop wasting time and money on defense policies too...

That's really a shame.
