Who knows maybe Unicorns exist.
Or maybe Scientology isn't a religion.
Well, I think it is one.
I don't. And you're never going to convince me that it's any more than a cult. |

It's so sad what happened to John Travolta's son but perhaps some good will come out of it if it focuses some light on the Scientology cult. I live in Tampa Bay and the Scientologists have this huge headquarters in Clearwater where they all go to have their brains audited. Come on people, get a life. L. Ron Hubbard was a third-rate fiction writer and scam artist extraordinaire.
Hubbard is my hero. You want to make money? Pull a Hubbard. |

I think it does do more harm that other 'religions'. It actually encourages people to spend huge sums of money on BS. It also relies on L. Ron Hubbard's solutions for many illnesses, most of which are ineffective.
More harm? Wait... Look at the Muslims, once and a while they blow themselves up. or the Christians through the years, have killed alot. Then we have the Jewish religion, which used to commit cannibalism and that type of stuff.
You can't just compare it to Islam like that. Now if Scientology were to be scaled up to the size of Islam, I believe it would cause more harm, yes. And Jewish Cannablism is no more than a legend. Possible, but unlikely.
Jewish Cannibalism is not legend. Islam can be compared like that. I know it doesnt sound right, but Im doing the same thing you are doing about Scienology, just making assumptions.
That's exactly what everyone needs to do in these cases. There aren't any statistics for how many people someone or something has killed / ruined. |

Scientology =/= religion.
Of course it does = a religion. People who say not are just silly.
It really, really isn't.
Well I think it is.
