Please take a few minutes to help my research along, so that Swindon schools can get better.
The findings of the report will be fed back to all schools and provide a basis of knowledge for a project currently run by PrideYouth to tackle homophobic bullying in schools and support the current stonewall campaign. For more information about the group, visit www.prideyouth.org.uk.

2. Have you ever witnessed/experienced homophobic bullying? No.
3. If yes, what did you do? N/A
4. If no, what would you do? Walk on by. I'm not a fan of the homosexual community, but not based on moral grounds so I feel a little more justified in being so.
5. Have you ever been involved in homophobic bullying? No. Waste of time.
6. Do you use the term 'gay' as an insult? Not from my perspective. There are always those touchy assholes who consider the word itself to be insulting - yet using it in reference to homosexuals is arguably the insult in/to the word.
7. Do you hear homophobic terms in your school? How often? What are they? No. I don't hear much in school.
8. How do teachers tackle homophobic bullying in your school? Well, presumably, since there isn't any afaik.
9. If one of your friends 'came out' to you, how would you react? I'd ask them why they feel comfortable telling me; assuming they tell just me, I will ask as to why not everybody. Again, if only me, I'd use that fact to my advantage.
10. Do you feel you have been educated about homosexuality/homophobia? Yes.
11. Do you feel you would want to be? Want to be... educated? Not any more. Homosexual? No. Ętre? Yes.
2. Have you ever witnessed/experienced homophobic bullying? -Nope.
3. If yes, what did you do? -Nothing.
4. If no, what would you do? -Probably get higher authority involved.
5. Have you ever been involved in homophobic bullying? -Nope
6. Do you use the term 'gay' as an insult? -Not really. No. Unless you count saying certain things (such as a car or shoes or something) are "gay" as an insult. : /
7. Do you hear homophobic terms in your school? How often? What are they? -People occasionally refer to things they dislike as "gay"
8. How do teachers tackle homophobic bullying in your school? -I don't pay enough attention.
9. If one of your friends 'came out' to you, how would you react? -I'd show support as a friend.
10. Do you feel you have been educated about homosexuality/homophobia? -Somewhat.
11. Do you feel you would want to be? -Not sure.
2. Have you ever witnessed/experienced homophobic bullying? -Yes
3. If yes, what did you do? Not much I could do,they were saying things kind of indirectly in a cowardly manner.
4. If no, what did you do? Ignored it because it was a friend of mine who was being spoken about but he and I both knew that the people in question were immature idiots.
5. Have you ever been involved in homophobic bullying? Yes,me and my best friend used to be called lesbians in school all the time because we're so close and didn't spend time with the other girls in the school. We would be shouted at lunchtime and had my books written on.
6. Do you use the term 'gay' as an insult? Yeah I might say I have an essay to do how 'gay' but I guess I don't mean anything by it,it's just a habit picked up from hearing others say it.
7. Do you hear homophobic terms in your school? How often? In school yes I did,but in college everyone is open minded and no-one really cares if you're gay or not.
8. How do teachers tackle homophobic bullying in your school? Quite well.
9. If one of your friends 'came out' to you, how would you react? Supportive but I guess I'd be a little shocked if I hadn't suspected anything.
10. Do you feel you have been educated about homosexuality/homophobia? No,I just learn from the media, friends and make up my own mind.Homosexuality and sexual education was a bit of a taboo subject at school so we didn't receive any form of sexual education let alone information on homosexuality. However,we did receive drug education but sexual education is more important in my opinion because everyone will at some point have sex.
11. Do you feel you would want to be? I think I know enough myself but others should be educated and maybe there would be less homophobia if people had a clearer understanding.
2) Yes
3) I stuck up for the person who was being discriminated against for being homosexual. I agree that everyone has an opinion, which is fine, but it is a different story when you are hurting another person.
4)
5) I have not, since I have never put myself in the situation to be bullied. I only come out to people who I know will accept me for who I am, and not look at me as less of a human.
6) No 7) I have heard many males use the term fag or faggot in school.
8) I have not been in a place where a teacher had to stick up for someone who was homosexual.
9) I would support him all the way.
10) Yes, I would hope so.
11) I am.
