Hi Moos1940.
I am 21,f,Tx. You are -
~Depressed all the time
~Not helping your parents
~Drinking
~Reckless Driving
~Feeling inferior
~Having a hard time with school
~Too clingy too fast
~Hating life
~Confused about your future
Right?
You may recieve this suggestion, or maybe you won't, but from me. I cannot say I am never depressed. That would be far from the truth. I have found that exercise (such as swimming or running), working on something that makes you feel important (something no one else can do as well as you can), or simply learning about one particular subject to a great extent can make your mood, and self-esteem rise greatly.
With following through with this advice -
You find something that you can enjoy on your own. Feeling inferior won't take place because with doing something you alone can do - you feel better about yourself. With finding something you love to do, you can let your girlfriend have her free time, just as you will eventually want. As a young man (I'm young as well) helping your parents can make you feel better about yourself because when you honestly feel that they trust, need, and are thankful toward you, you will have a greater respect for yourself. In turn, with all of this, your depression will EVENTUALLY wither away. It will not happen immediately.
