My dad has had severe depression for 6 years now. They've tried so many different medications but nothing seems to work. We just closed my dad's business thinking it was causing some stress. He doesn't seem relieved at all. Now we are living solely on my mother's pay check. He had been working for a friend of his. He was suppose to talk to his friend about working for him full time, but today he's sitting at home, which really makes me wonder. My mom is stressed beyond belief because she is like the backbone of the family. She does everything. Things are awful. I've been pretty strong but now I'm just extremely worried and don't have a clue as what to do. HELP!

be supportive and talk with them. Allow yourself time to express your emotions also. Keeping them in all the time will only make things harder. Its good to stay strong but think of you also. I am very sorry you and your family are going through this right now. It sounds like you have a great mother who is also trying her best. As a family you can get through this slump!! Have faith. You cant do much except be supportive. If your able to get a job and help than that is a possibility...as long as it doesn't interfere with your schooling and "you" time,
