This class I'm looking to take at college is a math class. Most of the classes are full because being a freshman you get the last of the options of classes to take.
Yeah so basically, my schedule would be really messed up if I had to take it with this one teacher, but I have the option to go to the first class and petition it.

I mean I'm still kind of overwhelmed by starting college, and the last thing I want is to make it more complicated, yet I need a math class.

I really don't want to have a class in the morning, and then come back and have another class at night. But if it's my last resort, I guess I have to.

What's the process of petitioning a class?
Is it easy/difficult?

Usually you can petition if a student that is in the class does not show up. You may find that there are other students wanting to get in the class also. Some teachers..at least that I have seen tell you to pick a number or do a lottery of some sorts.
