help me now Posted at 10:07 am on Sep. 6, 2008
ok so at my school they have this mini course towards the end of the first semester. its 3 wks long but you meet 5days a wk for 4 hours a day. I am trying to decide between taking speech and art appreciation. I am dreading both b/c i am not interested in either so which one seem like the best to squeeze in the short term?

Speech can be really fun if you involve yourself in it and really try to impress people with your speeches instead of being reluctant and reclusive.

But once you have a set work schedule and other classes, 20 hours for only 3 weeks is still a tough squeeze.

I'm taking 16 hours, a week, with 12 hours of work. I'm in college. It's a part of life. You either take it, and suck it up, or don't.

20 hours of class, a week, is not tha bad, FiercexMelon. In fact, in high school, 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, is 35 hours a week. Far more than this.

do you HAVE to pick one? i'd say art, because you'll probably just be looking at things and saying what you like about it or something...

Speech sounds like it'd help you more. You don't need a class for appreciating art. you either appreciate it or you don't. It can't be taught/taught about.

i have to take it though..have no choice
