I usually go to the study room and do problems on the whiteboard in very large handwritting. When I'm done I walk myself back through the problem, explaining to myself why I did each step. Helps me remember on the exam. If its a reading-oriented course, I have to form a picture in my mind for each piece of information I read; then I recite it without looking at my book.

Everyone studies different. It took me three years, but I've found what works for me. I take thorough notes, during the lectures. Then, as soon as I get back to the dorm, I type the notes, on my computer. A few days later, I rewrite the basics, onto index cards. And, then when it comes to studying, I use the index cards, with the answers on one side, the questions on the other. I study about an hour per subject, every day. I suggest devoting, for every 3 credit course, two hours of studying a day, after the class. Don't just memorize. Apply.

Proper studying requires proper planning. When a test is on the horizon determine how many hours you need to gather your notes, put together an outline, and get your memorizing in. Then, look at the date of the test on the calendar, and work backwards to the current date. In the free time on your calendar, set aside blocks of time in which you can complete all the tasks you need. This way, you make sure you have your hours alloted and you are not stressing at the last minute, or settling for just "winging it."

organize your notes well, remember "key" or significant words in your notes. don't study for long periods at a time. find a place where you won't be distracted.

When I study I usually go to the highest floor on my library and buckle down. I also manage all my homework in a planner to help me you my time more efficiently. |

I like getting inspiration to study. It's weird, but watching Raito from Death Note (anime) do his homework makes me want to buckle down and cram.

A simple tips I will share for my co-students: Well, in terms of studying, I am more comfortable when I heard love songs......very inspiring! it helps me a lot because I am also a music lover. ..and of course, what my professor's said: when we are studying, it must be "by the heart"...for you to understand everything. ...and one thing I've learned is FOCUS on your work..which means, Finished One Course Until Successful.. ...finally, you must have the interested in anything you've done so you'll not be bored.
