Semi-far from home. I really want to attend school in the DC-area.

Instead of looking at how far things are from home I looked at places I would like to go to Uni. Just happened that my Uni is a 3 hour train ride away from home...quite far in the UK where train travel is BLOODY expensive.

My university is exactly 120 miles from my house. :O

I dunno what you would consider home.  If it's where my parents live, then 400+ miles.  But since I moved out a year ago, it's only 50 miles away.  It'll take me two hours to get to my school and two hours to get back.

Whatever school you want to go to, distance shouldn't be that much of a factor.
My Name08 Posted at 1:08 am on July 16, 2008
i want to go away...for the sake of going away.
i think to me, the three schools offer the same thing for me...except the closest which offers...old friends...and my mommy. ha.

I'm in Illinois and I'm (hopefully) going to school in Tennessee. It is about a 12 hour drive, so it is kind of far away.

You just have to think, when was the last time you were away from home without your parents for an extended period of time? Are you going away because you want to be far away or because you like the school?
