But they left the topic completely up to me and i have no idea what to write about... "The Distinctive Candidate Application does not require you to submit an essay. In its place, however, we do ask you to submit a brief personal statement (250 to 500 words) - as a way to get to know you as a person and more than a collection of classes and test scores. Relax - there are no wrong answers. But we do ask you to consider grammar, spelling and the content of what you wish to express. The topic is up to you, but if you need some help getting started, here's an idea: Describe a negative interaction you have had with another person. What happened? How did you react? How did you respond to the other person?" i don't want to resort to their suggestion.
