I just got a letter from Drexel University saying I have been academically dismissed because I had a GPA below 2.0 .

I've scheduled an appeal meeting and for some reason I don't think that it's hard to get your dismissal appealed so I can go back.

Has anyone been through this at their college? What was the outcome of the appeal? ..im kind of scared

Appeal! Appeal! Appeal! speak to the dean of students immediately. try to do it in person but send an email too. give some sob story as best you can ie.. circumstances, changes, confusion. missteps, anything! just make it sound good and convincing. then tell them that you really want this and you're willing to prove it in the shortest amount of time. just need the chance. let them know you're disappointed in yourself too. now work on getting your gpa up. don't stop attending classes until you have completed entire appeal process. Good luck!

Hopefully you'll get put on academic probation instead. Why did you do so bad? It's going to be pretty hard to pull your GPA up either way, it's gonna stick with you.
