I want to join the school's equestrian club and choir. My parents refuse to let me pay money to stay in these extra curricular activities, or any extra curricular activities for that matter. They will not let *me*, or them, pay to join.

I just brought up the fact that I was planning on joining those. Than they asked me if it costs extra to be involved. Of course it does!
