Problem is, she told me and our other roommate not to tell anyone she was going back home. And I guess during this time she also hasn't been answering her parents' calls because her parents called my roommate and I asking where their daughter was.
They called each of us 3 times and left messages. I got another call just this past hour!
I feel horrible! I don't like to lie especially when someone is as concerned as her parents are.
I feel like by protecting my roommate I'm always sacrificing a lot of the morals and beliefs I have and I *hate* it.
When she comes home, I feel like telling her that I don't like lying for her, but I don't know if that's a good idea or not. What do you think?
its not a good idea. her parents could drive to where u r and knock on the door demanding to know where there daughter is. they could call the police and have them looking for her. you'll have to tell u can't lie for her. she can lie for herself. she can tell her parents she's at some other friends house. or its none of there business. she's 18. tell her to get a cell phone. her parents will be calling her not u.
They have been calling her cellphone! She just refuses to answer them, I suppose. Her parents also have our (my other roommate and I's cell phone numbers) so they're calling us too.
