Everyone seems to know everyone and it's as if they're purposely ignoring me. They hardly ever try to talk to me. I make myself appear approachable, smiling and trying to get my input in but no-one is really interested. I've already taken to staying in my room most of the day. I want to go out and meet people and try to find someone that has common interests with me or even just to be able to get these people to include me or want to talk to me. Any ideas on getting conversation going amongst total strangers? I'm not that confident to just jump in and be loud and trying to get my input in... and I've already made a first impression that i'm kinda quiet and reserved. HELP!

But what about the people I'm living with, they're not international. How can include myself more?
