I live in an apartment with 3 other people - my boyfriend, his best friend, and a mutual friend.  My boyfriend bought the apartment, letting two of his friends live there (connor and eli) while they were going through a rough financial patch.  My boyfriend's best friend, Connor, recently starting seeing this girl who has a 1 year old daughter (not connor's) and she has basically moved in.  I really like both the girlfriend and the baby, but the apartment is only 3 bedrooms, and its getting REALLY crowded with essentially 6 people there.  Plus, the baby is up ALL night, the girlfriend rarely picks up after the baby - there's baby stuff EVERYWHERE which my boyfriend and I normally wind up cleaning up, and it's making the living situation a nightmare.  She doesn't even have a crib or pack'n'play for this baby to sleep in!  The baby sleeps on the floor in their room - which is covered with clothes, coins, etc.  A few times, the kid woke up in the middle of the night and they didn't get up with her.  She wandered out into the hallway, I heard her, and I got up with the baby and changed her diaper, put her back to sleep.  I don't want to be held responsible if this baby were to swallow something or get hurt because our apartment is not meant for a baby.  This morning was the last straw - I was getting ready for class and there door was halfway open and I could hear the baby babbling and talking.  I walked past their door and they were having sex, in plain sight with the door halfway open and her baby on the floor.  I am just disgusted with the situation.  I would say something to Connor, however his last relationship completely destroyed him.  He seems so happy in this relationship, and I'm really happy for him that he finally found someone he likes.  But at the same time, she's a slob....I am wasting my time picking up after her and her kid and I have no doubt in my mind that she is going to wind up pregnant and reeling Connor in.  My boyfriend and I have talked about this and we can't decide what to do.  We both hate the idea of saying something to him because he seems so happy, but at the same time, I don't think it's fair to everyone else in the apartment to be woken up by a baby, cleaning up someone else's crap, etc.  I think my boyfriend should be the one to say something because it's my boyfriend's apartment.  Connor and Eli (the other roommate) don't pay rent, btw.  They pay the utilities bill in exchange for not paying rent.  So...any ideas????  Any suggestions are MUCH appreciated.
