There's one very good reason to join a club You Resume Having relevant clubs towards your future job does WONDERS for you employment options.
I actually just got a pretty stellar internship that I did not expect to even get an interview for when I applied. Talking to the lady who hired me, she gave me an initial phone interview only because of one of the club leadership bullets on my resume. |

| It really depends on what you want. If you're going to college to expand your career options and salary potential, then chances are you'll want to go to some sort of graduate or professional school after that. And in that case, they can matter. For example, a law school applicant should do Debate, Mock Trial, or Model UN. A medical school applicant may want to join a Biology club or a Pre-Med society. I think you get the point. And, outside all of that, a fraternity is great for networking, so it may be in your financial interest to join. |

| Why don't you try a fraternity or sorority. There are usually ones that fit your needs. Also, fellow members can become lifelong friends. |

| Clubs are not very everyone and you don't have to join one. If you're comfortable with what you have and don't want to do any of that, then dont worry about it. |
