I can't stand my father. only known him for 3 years, and he's been on my nerves for that long...

can't stand his fiancee, a train wreck that just never moves on.

eh, I don't mind my step bro, though he is too impartial for his own good.

yet, I feel sad I'm leaving them.  haha, they'd never get anything around the house done, like taking care of the cats or making sure there is a hot dinner cooked when they get home.

I'll be cooking dinner for my room mates, sure...but at the same time...I hardly know a thing about my room mates, other than they'll eat anything good.  that's a plus, given I cook top rate dinners, and can make 3 star ingredients into five star meals.

no annoying dogs to hear barking is a plus with my new room mates.

no religious speeches, just come as you are.

no creepy perverted jokes(only creepy when coming from my father...)

no having to pick up the pieces when something goes awry in the household.

no being judged because I'm gay and not a christian.

yet, I feel I'm leaving my folks to fend for themselves.  I give my folks about 3 years in the country before they loose their mind.  the place their moving to...they're naming it "our sanity"(who gives a name to a home they live in on a huge ass sign?  the neighbors are gonna think they're psycho...).

If only I could have imparted some wisdom before I leave...but they just won't listen to reason.  so they'll have to learn on their own...

I'm too young to be thinking so old...

just stop worrying so much. they need to grow up somehow, did they really expect you'd be around forever?
